Lightroom Mogrify

If you use Lightroom, then LR_Mogrify is a great plugin to use. It basically enhances the export menu and allows you to add outer and inner borders, watermarks and text annotations to the images you are exporting. I use it on the images I export for this blog to add the white border and the "OnTheEdgeWorld" watermark. Its a really cool tool. It works on windows and mac and its donationware.
