If you interested in macro photography check out this article by “DIY Photography”. Its not very in depth, but it does seem to highlight all the major points and terminology regarding macro photography and it is certainly a good place to get started. There’s also links to some great macro photography on Flickr.

Take better Point and Shoot photographs

If you don’t always have an SLR handy and you carry a point and shoot camera around with you, then you’ll enjoy this article by PetaPixel. In the article, they discuss some of the shortcomings of compact cameras and what you can do to get around them. A lot of the points that are discussed apply to photography in general so it’s a useful read even if you don’t generally use a compact camera.
