60D or 8D??

Just had a look and saw that the Canon 50D is selling for ~R8000. This is such a good price! Makes me wonder if they just not selling very well. I still think its such a good camera for that price. Makes me wonder if its because of the 7D? So what are canon going to do. Will they carry on making a 60D and a 8D or will they develop one of these lines?  Had a look at the canon release dates:

August seems to be the release date for the 50D line. So are we going to see a new camera soon? The 7D was also released almost a year ago... So one of these are due any day. Can't wait to see! I also see that Nikon just released a camera with autofocus video. I'm sure this is the way to go. But what else are we going to see?
